Born 1987, I began photographing at the age of twelve.
Photography has always played a central role in my life as a tool capable of capturing the fleeting beauty of the everyday life.
My photographic research is influenced by the people around me and whilst my early work focused on nature, becoming a mother has profoundly reshaped my photographic appetite, leading me to focus on people and the human condition, using the photographic medium as a tool for investigation and self analysis.
In my works I usually start from personal stories that can have a universality, depicting a woman's key stages in life such as childbirth, motherhood and aging.
Combining the intimate sphere with that of nature is a distinctive element of my visual signature.
